Neblina

2015

"The Neblinas of Pedro Vaz offer themselves as one of those ways of unification that aim at restoring the truth of landscapes without projecting on them states of mind, personal taste, imaginary associations or idealizations. Inscribed in a patient work of exploration in situ, and inserting himself in a movement of approach to the real things, these pictures are not representations that would change or beautify, or even replace if the object represented, as presentations of a pure vision that invites us to go there. Art, which has so often rivaled nature, is largely free from this temptation here."
