Azimute
2018
The Azimute project started with the idea of climbing the Serra da Estrela mountain until its snow limits. There are climat limits, but also aesthetic. The uniform chromatic and luminous layer with which the snow covers the vegetation of the mountain scape. Included in the exhibition were the Isometric window and maps. These constitute geometric instruments of the visual alignment field.
These paintings were made in a large horizontal format and constitute, visual transpositions of the angles observed in the terrain and recorded as drawing on the map.
