Terras de Risco

2011

“(...) the author’s images are born from within nature, the author allows nature to produce and reproduce them. There is a ritualistic dimension in this work (when nature” owns “the author) - and we can even say that Pedro Vaz allows himself to be possessed by nature (the aforementioned ritual), leaving the result of this possession for the spectator to contemplate. Now, if the spectator has a contemplative role here, the author is active-passive: he acts in nature and acts in it. Carlos Vidal, 2011
